Nature of request
Desiree, widow of William Peris of Sonbriges, who lives in Bayonne, states that she cannot have her inheritance in Bayonne, as the king has given it to William Arnaud of Savignac, when half of it ought to be hers. She requests a letter to the Seneschal of Gascony, to order the Mayor of Bayonne to hold an inquisition into this, and to give her justice.

This petition might be dated to around 1290 on the basis of the hand, especially the beavertail 's' of Sonbriges.However, E 122/124/14, a customs account for Sandwich for September - December 1305, includes a reference to produce imported by William Peris of Bayonne, who could be either the husband or the son.
