Alice Pycot states that she delivered her lands to Nicholas de Segrave in return for an annual rent of 5 marks, but that since the land has been in the King's wardship because of Nicholas' death, her rent has not been paid. She asks that she might be paid this rent while the land is in his hand, or that some other remedy might be ordained for her, as she has nothing else on which to live.

Dated on the guard to 1321-1324, and probably to c. 1324, on the basis of internal evidence and some contextual material in CFR 1319-27 pp.80 (an order to the Escheators to take into the king's hand the lands late of Nicholas de Segrave, deceased, dated 28 November 1321) & 261 (an order to deliver to Edmund de Bphum and Maud his wife, daughter and heir of Nicholas de Segrave, the lands of her late father, dated 14 March 1324) and CPR 1321-4 p.368 (a pardon for Edmund de Bohun, dated 5 March 1324).
