Nature of request
Christina Prouet states that she gave certain lands in West Kington to Roger de Budestone for term of life, in exchange for a rent of 40s. per annum and food, clothing and horses for her son Nicholas; and that these lands have been seized into the king's hand because of Roger's rebellion and put in the keeping of Robert de Hungreford. He is withholding the rent and services, and Christina and Nicholas request a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
Certain justices are to be appointed to inquire into the truth of the matter, and when the inquisition has been returned and the muniments etc. have been examined, justice is to be done to him in Chancery.
