Roger de Prideaux states that £17 are still being demanded of him of a fine of £20 which he was forced to make in the time of the king's father by Hugh le Despenser the son, to avoid going to Gascony. He requests grace and a pardon.

Coram rege.The petition is to be sent to Chancery, and he is to show the reason why the king ought to pardon him there.
