Nature of request
Robert Prestbury states that he sued an assize of novel disseisin against Edmund de Ayet concenring tenements in Plympton Erle, and that while the assize was pending, Edmund alienated those tenements to Robert de Tanton, who died seized of them. They are now in the King's hand for debts which Robert de Tanton owed the King. Robert Prestbury requests a writ to John Inge and his companions, justices of assize, to proceed, notwithstanding the fact that the tenements are in the King's hand for the aforesaid reason.
Nature of endorsement
The justices are to be ordered to proceed to hold the assize, provided that they do not proceed to judgment without consulting the king.
