Nature of request
The Prior and convent of Pontefract complain that lay people are receiving and spending the offerings made at the hill where the Earl of Lancaster died, which is in prejudice of them and against the estate of Holy Church. They ask that they might be able to have free administration of these offerings, as of right of their church, and they will guarantee that the building works they have undertaken will be expedited swiftly, and that the money will be spent on these.

He is to sue in Court Christian if he is prevented from receiving offerings within his parish.
