- Richard and William de la Pole state that Arnold Micol of Bazas has maliciously slandered them and others of their associates, saying that they had hidden 15 barrels of gold and silver that Hugh le Despenser had shipped from the Tower of London to Hull. They ask that Arnold might be summoned before the king and council in the present parliament to say what he can on the king's behalf on this matter, and that they might also be summoned to acquit themselves, if they can. They also ask that Arnold might be given an appropriate punishment, if his accusations turn out to be false, and claim that he is of the power of the king of France.
