Nature of request
Raymond Pelet, knight, who has served the king and his father in Gascony and lost everything in that service, so that he has nothing on which to live, requests certain lands which belonged to the Count of Armagnac and the Lord of Luk, rebels, in compensation.
Nature of endorsement
The king has ordained that he will swiftly send certain great men with full power to do the things which are suitable and profitable for him and for his subjects. The king will order them that, when they have taken information in those parts, they are to give him such consideration as is suitable and may suffice in justice.
