James de Parys states that while he was in the king's service and under his protection in Gascony and elsewhere, John de Bonevill entered his lands in County Carlow in Ireland and did £200 worth of damage there. He requests a writ to the king's justices in Ireland to give him a remedy.

Dated on the basis of CPR 1307-13 pp.147 (the appointment of John de Boneville as steward of Kildare and Carlow, dated 29 November 1308) and 363 (the appointment of John de Lyvet as steward of Carlow after John de Boneville's death, dated 27 June 1311). The petition must date from before 1311, and seems likely to date from after 1308.
