The petitioners ask that the debts which the late Henry de Percy owed King Edward, the king's father, might be allowed against debts which the late king owed him.
Nature of endorsement
He is to go to Chancery and show there the bills that he has for the money etc. due; and when these have been examined, the Treasurer and Barons etc. are to be ordered to allow the debts owed to the king in the debts which were owed to the deceased, charging etc.

CCR 1327-30 p.2 is dated 28 January 1327, and seems to be in response to this petition, although the petition is clearly addressed to Edward II.
