Geoffrey le Paneter states that Edward I gave him, as a reward for his service, the pesage of lead, avoir de pois, and tronage of wools in Kingston upon Hull, to hold as long as he acted well and loyally; which he held until he was ejected without reason at the request of Piers de Gaveston and replaced by Thomas de Wyght. He requests that the office might be returned to him.
