Aunger de Osbarnby, who is held in Newgate prison at the suit of Ellis de Hauvile, and has nothing to live on except the alms of the Earl of Cornwall, asks that he might come to court to answer to anything Ellis wishes to say against him, and that he might be released on mainprise in the meantime, as Ellis is suing half-heartedly to keep him in prison longer.
