Nature of request
Rokele and Cosin request that the king as much as he is able ordain that they be able to approach their goods and that remedy be done for their great loss for their goods have been arrested in Flanders at the suit of Hale who claims the king is indebted to him, otherwise they will be beggars forever.

Let certain people be assigned to enquire by oath of the merchants of the matters contained in the petition and return the inquisition. And when it has been returned the king will do on this what reason demands.
