Nature of request
1) The executors request that the escheators of Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex be ordered not to disturb them in the free administration of the corn on the land and the other chattels, and a similar order to the keepers of the temporalities if any have been assigned.2) They further request that the escheators and keepers be ordered to allow them to take venison from the parks of North and South Elmham and Thornage, and fish from the fisheries.3) They request that a licence be granted for the bishop of Ely to resume responsibility for those parts, as they have no other bishop.

Note
The petition probably dates to the period 1325 to 1327 as there was a long vacancy between the death of John Salmon and the elevation of William Ayermine, the short pontificate of Robert Baldock between August and September 1325 not really counting. A date of c. 1325 does not seem unreasonable.
