Nature of request
Nevill requests that the earlier petition be brought out of Chancery into parliament, and also the declaration of the council, and after good deliberation that it will be ordained that the new suit brought by Newton on behalf of the king is not truthful cease, and that it be commanded to the justices of the Bench to surcease the suit until the matter is fully discussed in parliament to the end that Nevill is not impeached further for the archdeaconry by this cause. Nevill has been impeached many times for the archdeaconry by Neuton on behalf of the king, and it has been found that the king has nor right in the archdeaconry and should not further meddle in it. However Neuton has brought a new suit.
