Nature of request
The people request a remedy be made for them as they are beaten by malefactors until they make ransom at their will, and are menaced so that they dare not sue at the common law, and any of them that are attainted before the justices, they alienate their lands and tenements by fraud so that the petitioners can have no recovery.

They should sue at the common law.
