- The petition appears to date to c. 1332 as Middelton seems to have been very active at this time complaining of wrongs done to her, though it is not clear that the wrongs alluded to in the patent rolls, or the inquisition made in 1331 directly relate to this petition (CPR 1330-4, p.206; CIM 1307-49, (no.1322)).
