[This document is very badly damaged and parts of it are not recoverable.]1) Inquisition taken at Chester before Thomas de Bolton, justice of Chester.2) Extracts from the plea rolls of Flintshire.3) Inquisition taken at Flint by P. Tiptoft, justice of Chester. [The inquisition is fragmentary but gives full details of the descent of the possession of the manor of Ewloe between various Welsh princes and the king's of England, and the ensuing ousting of the Mouhauts from their lordship].

Dated 1268-1316, the document has two dated inquisitions. The first is dated to 1268, but the latter dating is missing its regnal year. However, the inquisition clearly refers to this as being in Edward II's reign.
