Nature of request
Mordon requests remedy concerning 20 acres of land that he holds in Hendon. Rous granted the manor of Hendon to the abbot and convent and they have seized the 20 acres into their hand though they do not pertain to the manor. He is distrained for all manner of services and cannot have his right as the abbot and convent are lords of the vill of Hendon in which the manor is and have full return of writs.
Nature of endorsement
He should sue at the common law.
