1) Mortemer requests that an oyer and terminer be granted concerning the disturbance of his business to array foot-soldiers in Norfolk to his great damage. He had been commissioned to array troops to go to Gascony, but when he came to Norwich and summoned the people of the county before him the people of Norwich with their allies came and assaulted him and pursued him to the church of the Holy Trinity and besieged him there for a long time.2) Brigham makes a similar complaint.
