Nature of request
Moubray requests that he can have restitution of his lands and tenements at Makerstoun which were granted to him by Balliol, but which were subsequently seized by the Patrick and Thomas de Chartres when Roxburgh was lost. These lands have been re-conquered following the battle of Durham (Neville's Cross) and remain in the king's hand.
