Nature of request
Moubray requests that it be ordered by writ to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that in part of the allowance for the 300 marks which he has not had in the Exchequer, that they make allowance for the sum now demanded from him for the farm of certain lands which were his father's, which he has held since he came of age from the king. The king pardoned him by charter the 300 marks being the debts of him and his father for the trouble that he has undergone in the service of the king in Scotland.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be shown in Chancery the patent mentioned by the petition, and let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they search the rolls and remembrances. And if they find that the 300 marks are still due without anything being paid or allowed then let them make allowance to the petitioner for the sum owed for the farm now demanded to the use of the king in the 300 marks, endorsing the patent and rebating the sum in the 300 marks.
