Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition dates to the period 1378-1384. The petitioner had his letters granting the annuity originally granted in 1377 confirmed on 11 March 1378 (CPR 1374-7, p.471; CPR 1377-81, p.149). A note added to this confirmation records that they were cancelled as it seems that the petitioner received an alternative grant concerning the provostship of Acqs in 7 Rich. II (CPR 1377-81, p.149)
