Nature of request
1) Mortimer requests that she be granted regard from the lands that were her husband's in aid of her sustenance as the lands of her inheritance in Ireland are destroyed by the Irish enemies and can take no profit from the land because of the costs of garrisoning it.2) Mortimer further requests that she can have remedy and have livery of her husband's body so that it can be interred amongst his ancestors at Wigmore. The king ordered that the body was to be delivered but the friars minor of Coventry have refused to comply.3) She requests that she can have livery of her lands of Trim since the king answered her petition in the last parliament that he would make a decision at the next parliament, and if the king is still not able to be advised of her right, that he will grant her the lands at the extent until he can be. The land escheated to her late husband by Lacy's alliance with Bruce and since his death are in the king's hand.4) She requests that she may have the custody of her son and his lands, as they are in the hand of the king by his minority, and the lands are being wasted to the heir's and the king's damage.
Nature of endorsement
