Nature of request
The petitioners request that right be done to them. Louth, whose heir Isabel is, purchased for him and Tochet the manors of Thorpe Waterville and Burreth. If Tochet died without heirs the manors were to revert to Louth's heirs. Tochet forfeited the manors and they are in the king's hand.1)
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the manor of Thorpe Waterville he should sue against the earl of Pembroke if he wishes because he is tenant.2) Concerning the other matter he should show his part of the fine in Chancery etc.3) Coram rege.

Note
The petition must date to 1322 or thereafter since the response refers to Thorpe Waterville being in the hand of the earl of Pembroke, and it seems to have been in the hand of the earl by May 1322 (CPR 1321-4, p.113).
