Nature of request
Mildecumbe requests that his right be enquired of and a remedy be given as Tochet wrongfully detains land and rents in Cowley in which Tochet does not have entry only after the disseisin that Dabburbury made against Mildecumbe's father. Mildecumbe sued a writ of entry against Tochet and they were appointed a day by the court to plead in chief as it appears by the record of the rolls that the lands are in the hand of the king by Tochet's forfeiture.

The council is advised that the truth of the thing ought to be enquired into, and justice done if it pleases the king, and that he show his right in Chancery.
