Nature of request
Mehermer requests remedy so that he is not charged with the services by Courtenay to the prejudice of the king and the petitioner. Mehermer was granted the manor of Stokenham by the king but Courtenay claimed that the manor was held from him in contempt of the king by petition lately made in parliament and has troubled Mehermer demanding the services and customs.

Let the petition which this bill mentions be examined, and let the parties to be heard, and a day is given to them to be before the king in his parliament next Friday.
