Cumberland to Bedford: he has been ordered to go to Hanover before visiting England, and will leave in a week's time. Ligonier will report during his absence. In the case of officers of Guise's regiment being prosecuted for beating some Jacobites, he advises that the king's advocate should undertake the prosecution. He encloses a dispatch from Sandwich.
