Description

Newcastle to Cumberland: his pleasure that the king of Sardinia has acceded to the peace preliminaries. He has suggested that Sandwich prepare a draft definitive treaty. He includes his letters to Stone and Sandwich. He intends to depart shortly for Hanover and will call at the army on the way. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. ff. 375-377
