Newcastle to Cumberland: orders have been sent for the cessation of hostilities in the Mediterranean. The courts of Vienna and Turin must be persuaded to accede. As soon as an answer is received from Vienna, the prince of Orange's feelings must be sounded. Cumberland is to consider how far St Severin should be consulted on joint measures.
