Nova Scotia: Halifax: Artillery Park. (1) 'Plan and Section of a Mess Room, Antiroom, and Quarters for 3 Subalterns proposed to be built ...'. Copy by Samuel B Howlett. (2) Site plan showing position of proposed quarters and existing buildings. Copy by Robert Hoddle. Later MS additions show the amended road position, as per Captain Nicholls's letter to Lieutenant General Mann, 12 May 1812. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 5 feet [1:60]; (2) 1 inch to 30 feet [1:360]. Original plans signed by Captain Gustavus Nicolls, Commanding, RE, and enclosed in Major Dixon's letter to Mr Crewe [Probably R H Crew, secretary to the Board of Ordnance], 25 June 1811. Dimensions: (1) 52.6 cm x 54.9 cm; (2) 47.8 cm x 64.5 cm.
