Edinburgh. (1) 'Plan of the Inclosed Battery or Redoubt near Leith built for the Protection of the Harbour in the year 1780': plan and section, showing adjacent owners. Reference tables. Scale: 1 inch to 26 feet [1:312]. Compass indicator. Copy of an original signed by A Frazer, 31 December 1785. Amendment showing proposed quarter for the Commissary of Stores is affixed to the plan. Overlay: Plan of the Upper Story, positioned over the ground floor plan. (3) 'Plan of the Lands lying between Lieth [Leith] and Newhaven Shewing the situation of the Inclosed Battery or Redoubt Built in the Year 1780 for the Protection of the Harbour of Leith': showing adjacent owners. Approximate scale: 1 inch to 150 feet [1:1800]. Undated MS pencil additions. Compass indicators. Dimensions: (1) 49 cm x 68.6 cm; (3) 80.0 cm x 101.3 cm.
