Description

Plans, elevations and sections of buildings at St Ann's Castle. (1) Officers' Barracks. (2) Privates' Barracks, north side of the New Square, near St Ann's Castle. (3) Moveable Hospitals. (4) Powder Magazine and Ordnance Store houses. (5) King's House on Constitution Hill. (6) Wooden Barracks, erected (during the late Spanish Armament) near the marsh, under St Ann's Castle. (7) Privates' Barrack on the west face of St Ann's Castle within the Rampart presently occupied by the 4th Battalion, 60th Regiment. (8) Privates' Barracks over the Ditch, presently occupied by the 4th Battalion, 60th Regiment. (9) Barracks on Constitution Hill. Scale: 1 inch to 15 feet. By Lieutenant James Fiddes, RE.
