Description

River Medway, from Rochester to Sheerness: chart showing soundings, anchorages and batteries and drawings of ships. Approximate scale: 3.17 inches to 1 mile [1:20,000]. Surveyed by Greenville Collins. Insets: Plans of Gillingham and Cockham Wood forts. Scale: 1 inch to 72 yards [1:2592]. 2 compass stars wrongly orientated, north pointing east.
