'N o. 1 Plan of the New establishment proposed to be erected on the Military Reserve...Revised according to Major General Pilkingtons letter to M r Byham dated 9 April 1834'; and 'Battery for the defence of the Mouth of the Harbour, closed in the Gorge by a loop holed wall, agreeably to the above': plans and sections. Scales: Plan: 1 inch to 60 feet [1:720]; Sections: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]; Plan of battery wall: 1 inch to 3 feet [1:36]. By T G W Eaststaff, draughtsman. Signed by Colonel Gustavus Nicolls, Commanding RE, 22 September 1835.
