Signed by Captain R H Bonnycastle, RE, 24 June 1835; and annotated: 'This Plan is referred to the Ordnance as Plan N o 1 Quebec 22 nd Sept r 1835'; 'I confirm that this plan has the following advantage namely that the barracks may be built and occupied previous to the work which is intended to defend them. J.R.W. [Lieutenant Colonel J R Wright, RE]'.
