'Sketch shewing the relative positions of Redoubts B & C and Towers D & E proposed for S t Johns, with the ground required within 150 y ds. of the centre of the Tower C proposed to be built at S t Athanase': plan (of area now in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Saint-Athanase, Quebec) showing Ordnance property, lands previously estimated for, country lots and town lots. Key to plots, with acreage and landowners' names. Scale: 4 inches to 600 yards. Compass indicator. (Signed) W H Roberts, Lt RE. Copied by R Pilkington, draughtsman. Signed by W C Ward, Lt Col CRE, 24 December 1841, and by J Oldfield, Lt Colonel CRE, 14 January 1842.
