Description

(15) Copy of (16) with pencilled note by W[right] requesting Bonnycastle to verify its accuracy; Bonnycastle duly did so. (16) 'Survey of part of the village of Stuartville at Kingston U.C shewing the site of the Casemated Redoubt N o 4'. Scale: 2 inches to 4 chains. Signed by R H Bonnycastle, Major CRE, 7 September 1838, and by J R Wright, Lt Col CRE. A pencilled note suggests that this map belonged with the Commanding Royal Engineer's letter of 9 March 1839.
