Canada West: Kingston (now in Ontario, Canada). 'Part of the City of Kingston, shewing the boundaries... of the portions of ground handed over by the Provincial Gov t. to the Ordnance'. Also shows radii [of fire from] existing and proposed redoubts; Royal Artillery exercising ground; houses occupied by permission of the Board of Works; street names. Scale: 1 inch to 100 yards. Signed by W C E Holloway, Colonel CRE, to accompany his letter of 16 September 1846 to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
