Canada West: Kingston (now in Ontario, Canada). 'Kingston Block Sketch of the Town. Shewing the portion of ground appertaining to the Civil Government... applied for by the Corporation of Kingston'. Also shows blockhouses; the Clergy Reserve and Artillery Park. Reference table to blockhouses. Scale: 8.2 inches to 1,100 yards. Compass indicator. Drawn by R Pilkington, draughtsman. Signed by W C E Holloway, Colonel CRE, to accompany his letter of 24 September 1844 to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
