1 item (originally accompanying report number 708, dated 8 April 1857) extracted from WO 55/1621/5. Nova Scotia (now in Canada): 'Halifax. Nova Scotia Wellington barracks. Revised plan showing the proposed increased accommodation required by I.G.F, order dated 6th October 1856 and 2nd February 1857'. Scale: 1 inch to 11 feet. Signed: Lieutenant C P Carey, 7 April 1857; Colonel R J Stothend, Commanding Royal Engineers, 8 April 1857; and [P S Thomas], Clerk of Works. The related report is not preserved at the parent reference.
Although, according to the placement of the dummy, this plan was extracted from WO 55/1621/5, it probably belongs properly with the missing WO 55/1621/7. A search of WO 55/1620/3, which relates to Haifax, Nova Scotia at this date, found no obviously related papers.
