2 items (originally accompanying a report dated 10 October 1856) extracted from WO 55/1621/6. New Zealand. 'Plan of Upper Mount Cook shewing proposed New Well': 2 copies, both also bearing an enlarged section. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 100 feet (plan); 1 inch to 150 feet (sections). Signed: Captain F R Chesney, Royal Engineers, 10 October 1856; and Lieutenant Colonel T [Rawlings] Mould, Commanding Royal Engineers, 19 November 1856. The related report is not preserved at the parent reference. The envelope labelled as"1621/6 New Zealand" now contains only a dummy for items 29-32.
