3 items (originally accompanying a despatch dated 24 September 1852) extracted from WO 55/1621/1. Malta. (22) 'Sketch shewing the Premises at Floriana which are proposed to be given over to the Ordnance by the Civil Government, 10th Septr. 1852': plan. Reference table. Scale: 1 inch to 40 feet [1:480]. Signed: Lieutenant James Murray, Royal Engineers. (23) 'Sketch shewing the Casemates (numbered from 1 to 10) Recently transferred to the Ordnance by the Civil Govt. of Malta': plan. Scale: 1 inch to 61.25 feet [1:735]. Signed by Murray, 20 August 1852. (24) 'Malta. Plans and Sections of Female Orphan Asylum. Floriana'. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. All items signed: Lieutenant Colonel Francis Ringler Thomson, Commanding Royal Engineers, 24 September 1852. A small overlay (not separately numbered), affixed to the face of item 24, bears a plan of the first floor. Dimensions: (22) 56 cm x 80 cm; (23) 45 cm x 58 cm; (24) 81 cm x 60 cm. The related despatch is not preserved at the parent reference.
