4 items (originally accompanying a letter from the Officer Commanding the Royal Engineers, 3 May 1853) extracted from WO 55/1621/1. (13) 'Malta. Project for adapting the Site of the Old Civil Arsenal at Floriana... into a Barrack ...': title page. List of the features of the proposed accommodation, and a note of its expected cost. Signed: Lieutenant Colonel Francis Ringler Thomson, Commanding Royal Engineers, 3 May 1853. (14) 'Plan of the Old Arsenal, Floriana': showing ground transferred to the Ordnance by the Civil Government, 6 Dec 1852. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Pencilled amendments. (15) 'Plan of the Old Arsenal... (Shewing 2 small houses... which... could be made capable of accommodation 4 Officers)'. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Small overlays, attached to the face of the sheet, show details of first and second floors. (16) 'Malta Plan of the Ground Floor of Female Orphan Asylum alias "Sailor Home" ...'.
