Description

1 item (originally accompanying a special estimate dated 22 October 1855) extracted from WO 55/1621/1. Malta: Vittoriosa. 'Plan, and Section of Entrance Front Fort St. Angelo, shewing the Rock proposed to be excavated, and removed, also site selected for the fixing of a Ten Ton Crane'. Scale: 1 inch to 60 feet [1:720] (plan); 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240] (section). Intialled: W S W, Clerk of Works, 20 October 1855. Signed: Colonel Francis Ringler Thomson, Commanding Royal Engineers.
