Gibraltar. 5 drawings illustrating the proposed conversion of a boat-house to provide accommodation for convicts. (15) 'Plan proposed by the Engineer's Dept at Gibraltar'; (16) outline plan of the boathouse; (17) ground floor plan; (18) upper floor plan; (19) sheet bearing sections and elevations of the prison wings, officers' quarters and cell grating. All items originally enclosed in a letter from Colonel [George J] Harding, Commanding Royal Engineers, which was forwarded to the Inspector General of Fortifications in a letter from R Byham, 23 January 1843.
