Gibraltar. (1) 'Plan shewing the position of the vacant Ground adjoining the Civil Hospital ...'. Scale: 1 inch to 50 feet [1:600]. (2) 'Sketch of the waste Ground adjoining the Civil Hospital; and the Officers Quarters occupied by the Commissariat Officers': plan of the site proposed by Major General Mann in a report dated 30 December 1833. Scale: 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]. Compass indicators to both items. Dimensions: (1) 28 cm x 41 cm; (2) 45 cm x 34 cm. Both items originally enclosed in a letter from Colonel George Harding, Commanding Royal Engineers, 6 June 1845; this letter has not been preserved at the parent reference.
