Compass indicator. [?Drawn by] Edward Stanton, Lieutenant Colonel, Royal Engineers. Lithographed at the Topographical & Statistical Depôt, War Department, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel T B Jervis, 7 November 1856. Originally enclosed with a print of Stanton's [despatch] number 22, 22 October 1856.
