European Turkey: Adrianople (now Edirne). 4 sheets of sketches of bridges over the Meriç (also Maritsa and Évros) and Tunca (also Tundzha) Rivers. Reference notes on bridges, tides, currents, banks. Lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quartermaster General's Department, 1877. Sheet sizes between 22 cm x 36.5 cm and 25.5 cm x 39.5 cm. Produced for a print of a report by Lieutenant [H] Chermside, [Royal Engineers], on Adrianople.
