South-eastern Europe: Dedeagach (now Alexandroúpolis, Greece). (56) 'Rough Sketch (by time, eye, aneroid & one or two compass bearings) of Railway Terminus, Small Port &c. at Dede Aghatch': plan. Scale: 2 inches to 1 mile [1:1,31,680]. Compass Indicator. (57) 'Rough sketch showing elevation of granaries at Dede Aghatch': sheet also showing the elevation of a trestle and the section of a mole. (58) 'Sketch of Granaries & Small Port at the Railway Terminus at Dede Aghatch': plan. Scale: 1 inch to 20 yards [1:720]. Compass indicator. All items lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quartermaster General's Department, 1877. Dimensions: (56) 32.5 cm x 28 cm; (57) 26 cm x 38 cm; (58) 32.5 cm x 53 cm. Produced for the print of a report by Lieutenant H Chermside, Royal Engineers.
